The Rides
The first day poured with rain and with 77 miles to do in the mountains there were some apprehensive looks! The summits of the Col des Aravis and Col de Columbière were reached with capes on, where the lower slopes of the Jou Plane were a little drier as Gary and Dave sped away leaving Granville and Andrew to climb at their own pace. Each day ended with a tough seven mile climb, just to get home. But on the last day it was sunny and there was a beer reward at the end!
