Mountain Mayhem
The Mammoth A Team finished 8th in the Mixed Elite section with a very creditable 20 laps despite foul conditions (as usual) on the Saturday and overnight. All praise for sticking at it - sticking being an apt description! Thick mud, collapsed tents and skilled barbecuers all added to the fun!. Rumour has it that in the road sportive event one Mammoth rider, after 225 miles in the French Alps, had to walk up a hill in Herefordshire!
