A tough course around Yoxall and Rangemore saw Mammoth's Will and Harry Penn in a twenty man break in the main 67 mile race. Pete Dolan and Russell Falder policed the bunch until Pete's legs gave way (well he had ridden the earlier 46 mile race with Dave Drayton-Green!).
Will's legs gave way in the final miles with Harry hanging on to take 12th.
