Gary's career as a professional cyclist took him on the Mountain Bike World Cup circuit and then to the Atlanta Olympics.He has a degree in Sports Science and has been a National Mountain Bike Coach coaching the National Team at the Sydney and Athens Olympics and the Commonwealth Games in Manchester. His own preparations as well as that of his athletes has been based on Cross-Training. Gary has been under contract to British Cycling and has supported Specialized star rider Liam Killeen as well as managing the Specialized Factory Team. Gary is also a regular commentator on mountain bike television broadcasts.
